Five Rocking New Clips From 'Hamlet 2'

Focus Features have presented viewers with another look into the upcoming comedy movie from filmmaker Andrew Fleming by releasing 5 new clips.

AceShowbiz - Giving future audience more chance in getting to know more about their upcoming irreverent comedy, Focus Features have brought out another round of newly released footages from "Hamlet 2". The new footages consist of five clips from the Andrew Fleming's movie and they give out more glimpses to some of the snippets that have been previewed through the trailers before.

Most of the clips run more than a minute, but two of them last about 30 to 50 seconds. In the first clip, viewers can see the scene from the musical number "Rock Me Sexy Jesus" which begins with three female teenagers sitting on a bed giving an introduction to the play. Then, Dana Marschz dresses in white robe acting to be Jesus descended to the stage under the amazement of the teenagers and others. Following that, the musical number begins.

The second clip highlights the scene where Dana Marschz shows his friend Brie his "Hamlet 2" script, while the third one displays the clip in which he kicks a trash can, knocking down one of his students. The fourth one shows the argument between Dana's students and their parents over the script play and in the last clip, Dana meets Elisabeth Shue.

Coming out on August 29, "Hamlet 2" centers it story on Dana, a failed actor turned lousy drama teacher. When one day he learns that his drama department will be shut down, he comes out with a brilliant idea to save his job by making a politically incorrect musical sequel to Shakespeare's Hamlet. Directed and co-scripted by Fleming, the movie features Steve Coogan, Catherine Keener, David Arquette and Amy Poehler.
