The renown producer/songwriter has just received another award over his songwriting quality at the ASCAP 21th annual of Rhythm & Soul Music Awards.

AceShowbiz - Another acknowledgment for Timbaland's songwriting expertise arrives on Monday, June 23 as he was crowned Songwriter of the Year by ASCAP. The producer/songwriter received the honor at the ASCAP 21st annual of Rhythm & Soul Music Awards held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in L.A.
Timbaland received the Songwriter of the Year award due to his involvements on writing four award winning songs this year, such as "Ice Box" by Omarion, "Make Me Better" by Fabolous featuring Ne-Yo and two Justin Timberlake songs, "My Love" featuring T.I. and "Until the End of Time" featuring Beyonce Knowles. This success reprise his previous achievement on winning the same award for ASCAP Pop Music Awards held on April 9.
Beside Timbaland other famous names that also received an award at the event, includes the likes of Fabolous and Robin Thicke. Fabolous took home the Rap song of the Year award for "Make Me Better" featuring Ne-Yo, while Robin grabbed the R&B/hip-hop song of the year with his hit "Lost Without U."
Moreover, the award show that was hosted by Grammy-winning songwriter Johnta Austin also picked EMI Music Publishing as Publisher of the Year after publishing in total of 17 award winning songs. Beside the award ceremony, the show was also enlightened by some exciting performers, such as Shawty Lo, The-Dream, J. Holiday, Raheem DeVaughn and Flo Rida.
