A Bunch of 'Wall-E' Featurettes and Vignettes
Movie

Pixar and Walt Disney Pictures have come out with two brand new featurettes showing behind-the-scene look into 'Wall-E' and five new short promo clips.

AceShowbiz - In support of the promotional campaign for the upcoming Walt Disney/Pixar's "Wall-E", a bunch of video footages in relation to the animation movie have been outed. The footages include two featurettes, which are entitled "A Space Journey in Sound" and "Pixar Goes Space Age", and five new Brazilian vignettes.

As its title, the first featurette "A Space Journey in Sound" brings the viewers closer to the making of "Wall-E" from the sound effects side. It focuses on the importance of the sci-fi sound needed to make it realistic and it exposes how Ben Burtt, the Oscar-winning sound editor for "E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial" and "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade" and the man behind the voice of R2-D2 robot in the "Star Wars" films, works to get every sound for "Wall-E".

The second featurette "Pixar Goes Space Age" discusses about the visuals and cinematography of this latest Pixar's film. It also exposes that Academy Award-nominated cinematographer Roger Deakins known for his work in "The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford", "No Country for Old Men", and "In the Valley of Elah" came in to be the visual consultant for the animation project.

Apart from the two featurettes, five extremely short unique video advertising "Wall-E" have also surfaced. The vignettes display the garbage robot breaking the lens of the video camera, playing baseball with EVE, grooving with the music, catching and compacting a baseball, and getting in unlucky situation with a soccer ball.

"Wall-E" is a new movie from the director of "Finding Nemo", Andrew Stanton. It tells the story of a waste compacting robot that is left alone on Earth without being turned off by its owner. When a sleeker robot known as EVE finally comes to Earth to find a sign of life, he creates a bond with her and starts on a journey that he never imagine he would be in. The flick is expected to come out this coming Friday, June 20.
