Though being rumored to potentially have problem with its scheduled release date due to the cancelation of its world premiere, 'Hancock' is reported to be debuted earlier on July 1.

AceShowbiz - Back in mid-May, disturbing report concerning the slacker superhero "Hancock" has surfaced. At the time, the action drama movie starring Will Smith has been speculated to perhaps unable to be finished on time for its theatrical release because it still has to undergo several re-shooting. But, to the surprise of many, it is now said that the tidbit is coming out even earlier than its previous schedule.

According to Slash Film, Columbia Pictures have taken a major decision to move "Hancock" release date a day before its original plan. Hence, it means that the drunken superhero film will be coming to theaters on Tuesday, July 1 instead of on Wednesday, July 2 and it will be having a six-day holiday weekend showing which is going to be kicked off as early as 7:00 P.M. Still, on the contrary to the latest news and posting a big question mark on it, the film's official site is still listing "Hancock" on July 2 for the North American release date.

On the earlier troubling news of "Hancock", many have speculated that the movie was on a big jeopardy after a report about the cancellation of its world premiere came out. At the time, it was said that the June scheduled world premiere in Sydney, Australia has been put off because the filmmakers have to do some heavy re-filming of several scenes to get the PG-13 rating. It should be noticed that previously, the movie has been twice given restricted ratings due to its considerably sexual and violent content.

From the director of "The Kingdom" Peter Berg comes an unlikely superhero movie by the name of "Hancock". This film tells the story of a man gifted with a superhero power but lack of social charm. He helps to bring justice to criminal living in the world, but instead of getting praises, he is misjudged and misunderstood by the public. One day, he saves PR executive Ray Embrey and from then on, his life takes a turn he doesn't expect. The movie stars also Jason Bateman and Charlize Theron.
