A Look Into 'Dark Knight' Alternate Trailer and Gotham Tonight Video

The sequel to the blockbuster superhero movie 'Batman Begins' has gotten two new viral videos, one exposes the alternate trailer and the other shows a 'Gotham Tonight' episode.

AceShowbiz - The highly anticipated Batman movie, "The Dark Knight", has brought into the public eyes two interesting new videos, an alternate trailer and an eight-minute video of Gotham Tonight. The two videos have appeared firstly through Comcast On Demand, but now can be seen below.

The alternate trailer displays footages compiled from "Dark Knight" previous trailers as well as its IMAX featurette. Hence, many of the clips shown within would be very familiar to those who have watched other videos related to the superhero flick. Nevertheless, the trailer still exposes some unseen scenes, like the moment when Harvey Dent are tied down to the floor while a liquid presumably gasoline soaked half of his face which is pressed against the floor.

The other video, the "Gotham Tonight", is a viral Gotham Cable News program hosted by Mike Engel who is played by Anthony Michael Hall. The leaked video seems to be some sort of a news program dedicated for the superhero and his heroic action as the news reported in it focuses on the work Batman has done on bringing down the Gotham City's criminal.

Coming from director Christopher Nolan, "Dark Knight" stars Christian Bale, Heath Ledger, Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, Aaron Eckhart and Maggie Gyllenhaal. It follows the story of Batman as he teams up with Lieutenant Jim Gordon and District Attorney Harvey Dent to bring the Gotham's criminals to the face of justice, but is pushed to the limit by a new psychotic villain, Joker. The action fantasy film will be available in theaters on July 18.
