'Incredible Hulk' Smashed L.A. for World Premiere

Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, California has become the host of 'The Incredible Hulk' world premiere on Sunday, June 8, night.

AceShowbiz - Sunday, June 8, night passed by with a considerably eventful evening. The day was highlighted with the rolling out of green carpet and the erecting of a big green raging hero's statue at Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, California for the world premiere of the highly anticipated action movie "The Incredible Hulk".

Though the first screening was not flooded with numerous Hollywood stars like the premiere of "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" and "Sex and the City", it still saw many notable people grazing its out-of-ordinary green carpet. Among the attendees were the cast, including Edward Norton, Liv Tyler, Tim Roth and William Hurt, and celebrity guests, such as Alison Sweeney, filmmaker Jon Favreau, Julie Benz, Kevin Sorbo and comic legend Stan Lee. Adding to the report, Entertainment Tonight has posted video interview with Norton and Tyler at the green carpet which can be seen below.

The newest version of "Hulk" will be blasting its way to the theaters this coming Friday, June 13. Directed by Louis Leterrier, the action-packed movie from Universal Pictures will be giving the background story of Hulk from the very beginning. It is going to tell how Bruce Banner exposed to the gamma radiation, his effort to find the cure and his attempt to avoid capture from the people who want to make use of his newly found power.
