One of the rapper's songs from his upcoming LP "Tha Carter III" reportedly will be used as a soundtrack for a new movie, which he will also star on.

AceShowbiz - Songs from Lil Wayne's upcoming LP "Tha Carter III", to be outed on June 10, seem to bring lots of good fortune for the rapper. After his first single "Lollipop" has become the number one single on the Billboard chart, now another song from the upcoming record "Tie My Hands" is set to give him more royalty fortunes.

This fact occurs after the latest report stated that "Tie My Hands", which also features a collaboration with Robin Thicke, will be used as a soundtrack for an upcoming movie titled "Hurricane Season". Not only having his song as a theme song for the film, but Wayne himself will also play a role on that movie which tells about basketball and the Hurricane Katrina's after effect in New Orleans.

In other news, beside preparing his recent projects, Wayne is also busy dealing with some problems that he has, the recent one is about the leak of his tracks from "Tha Carter III". His songs from the new LP have been used by DJ Empire in his mixtapes, responding to that the rapper previously attacked the DJ by giving some bad comments in the media.

Now after the feud, the latest news stated that Wayne and his label have decided not to press charges on DJ Empire. The news was confirmed by his label's chief, Ron "Slim" Williams, saying, "It'll cost more for me to sue him and it's not worth it. Wayne has spoken to him, so I don't know what's going on with that. I think Empire said he has more music to put out. Most DJs are just local, so they're not making that much money anyway."
