A Look Into 'Transformers 2' Pre-Production
Movie

A series of Bethlehem's set pictures has made its way to the virtual world and along with it, more detailed information about the filming are outed.

AceShowbiz - A while back, reports about the transforming of Bethlehem's old steel site into part of a Chinese city for "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" have surfaced on the interwebs following the Asian casting calls outed in early May. Now, a series of pictures showing the Betlehem's set has come out online and along with it, more information about the sequel film can be gathered.

Reportedly, the filming at the Bethlehem's set in Pennsylvania will take place on the west side of the site. The shooting of the Paramount Pictures' action tidbit will be using two Blackhawk helicopters and will be guarded by the site security as well as the Bethlehem City Police. The interesting part coming from the pre-production stated that a new concept car which can possibly be a transformer will be used. The report read, "A new concept car (possible Transformer?) not used in the first movie will be used there."

Other news concerning the Michael Bay's flick let out that "Transformers" sequel will once again hold an open casting call for anyone ages in between 18 to 70 for the set shooting in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Princeton, New Jersey. The open call will be done on May 31 at "Bullies" bar at the Spectrum in South Philadelphia starting on 10 A.M. to 3 P.M. The detailed information about the casting call can be read at Transformers Live.

"Transformers 2" is scheduled to bow in the theaters on June 26, 2009. It will see Shia LaBeouf again as the film's star and Bay as the director.
