Not only "The Time of My Life" other three songs that he sang on this week Idol's final on May 20 also listed on the top four downloads at iTunes. The songs are, "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For", "Dream Big" and "The World I Know".

Speaking about his plans after winning the popular singing competition, Cook told the press that he is preparing a new album and setting it to be a rock record. "It'll probably be a rock record. I just want to make a record that's going to make the hair on your neck stand up," Cook said.

Moreover, he also added that despite his current popularity, the 25-year-old singer doesn't want his album to be a commercial effort. "Even if it doesn't do well commercially, as long as I can put out a record I am proud of - that's the goal right now. And hopefully the success will follow." Meanwhile, answering about the process of his songs writing, Cook said, "I think it's going to be a mixture of my writing and hopefully writing with other people. I just want to come out of the gate with a solid record."
