Bow Wow Quits Music, Focuses on Acting

Decided to turn his attention into acting, the rapper reportedly has joined the fifth season of the hit U.S. TV program "Entourage."

AceShowbiz - First entering the rap scene at the age of 13, Bow Wow has decided to bow out of the Hip Hop game and focus on acting. Has seen his acting resume increases with roles in such films, as "The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift" as well as "Roll Bounce", the rap artist has ended his music career and already secured a part on the hit U.S. TV program "Entourage."

According to reports, Bow Wow is set to play the role of a stand up comic called Charlie who is managed by Eric Murphy, played by actor Kevin Connolly. The fifth season of HBO's "Entourage" is expected to premiere this fall.

About his decision to quit music, Bow Wow was quoted as saying, "After 16 years in the music industry and six successful albums, I've decided to shift my energy to something else I'm passionate about, acting. I'm going to try to be the next Will Smith."

Has also been cast in the upcoming sport-drama "Patriots", Bow Wow revealed that he as well is working on his seventh solo album titled "H.I.M." which will be out this year.
