Video: Coldplay's 'Violet Hill' Second Version

The English band made a special surprise to their fans by premiering a second version of their first single clip which features George Bush and Tony Blair.

AceShowbiz - After premiering the official video of their first single "Violet Hill" on May 15, Coldplay surprise their fans by releasing another clip. The English band earlier this week have premiered the second video for their first single which is completely different from the first video.

On the new video, the band seem to get more political and satirical by featuring edited footages of George Bush dancing and also Tony Blair playing guitar. The new clip was directed by Matt Whitecross, while the first original video has Asa Mader on the directorial seat.

The single itself was taken from the band's new album "Viva la Vida". The song was outed and being made available for free download via Coldplay's official website on May 6. Meanwhile, the new LP planned to hit the stores on June 12 in U.K. and on June 17 in North America.

Beside preparing the release of their new record, Coldplay will also headline the upcoming MTV Movie Awards on June 1. After that the band plan to kick start their tour on June 29 in Philadelphia.
