'Harry Potter and Half Blood Prince' Cuts Off Moaning Myrtle

The sixth installment of 'Harry Potter' series won't see the miserable ghost who helps Harry in 'Goblet of Fire' involved in the film because her part has been cut out from the film.

It seems that in order to compress the sixth book into a feature film, Harry Potter's filmmakers have decided to leave Moaning Myrtle out of the latest wizardry film. In the forthcoming "", Potter's fans won't get the chance to see the girl's bathroom haunting witch ghost who have helped the wizard hero in one of his "Goblet of Fire" tasks.

The cutting off of Myrtle's part in the sixth film has been confirmed by the representative of Shirley Henderson, the actress who depicted the spirit character in "" and "". Providing verification to the news, the spokesperson at HamiltonHodell told Snitch Seeker, "I'm sorry to report that Moaning Myrtle has not made it into the latest film."

Actually, in the sixth J.K. Rowling's series, Myrtle serves to be Draco Malfoy's confidante. At one point, she even soothe the sobbing Malfoy who takes refuge at the second floor girl's bathroom. When Harry performed the Sectumsempra spell on Malfoy after finding him hiding at the bathroom, Myrtle becomes the one who spreads the evil deed throughout the school.

Putting the news of the detachment of Myrtle from the film aside, the Leaky Lounge has given out an on-set "Half-Blood Prince" report from a lucky fan. The report includes the detailed description about the used set as well as how to get there.

Teaming director David Yates again with young rising actors, , and , "Half-Blood Prince" continues the epic saga of Harry Potter's journey to put an end to the terror caused by evil wizard Lord Voldermort. In this latest movie, the darkness falls quick on the wizard world as Voldermort getting stronger and stronger each day and Harry and his two loyal friends race to find the true identity of the "Half-Blood Prince". The fantasy film will arrive in theaters on November 21.
