Having a major success with their singing career and being the latest Disney's stars, Jonas Brothers are getting special treatment from Disney as they will get their own 3-D concert tour film in 2009.

AceShowbiz - Having been guest appearing in the top-grossing concert film, "Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert Tour", apparently is not good enough for the rising singing sensation Jonas Brothers. The three siblings are now gearing up to make a comeback to the 3-D screens in 2009 with their own concert tour movie.

Following the footsteps of their fellow Disney's superstar Miley Cyrus, the pop rock band consisting of Joe Jonas, Nick Jonas, and Kevin Jonas will be headlining a 3-D feature film documenting their upcoming "Burning Up" concert tour as well as the behind-the-scene footage of their lives. On the making of the movie, the "SOS" hitmakers expressed their excitement saying, "We can't wait to start working on this film for our fans. It's going to be awesome and we really want to bring a totally unique and different movie experience to everyone whether they've seen us live or not."

Revealing in a statement on Tuesday, May 6, that the tidbit won't be a mere concert film, Walt Disney Studios President Oren Aviv commented on what to expect from it. "More than just a concert, this film will take moviegoers inside the band's creative process, and present them in a very intimate and entertaining way," so claimed the mouse house's topper. The movie is scheduled for 2009 release and it will have "Best of Both Worlds Concert Tour" helmer Bruce Hendricks as its director.

Jonas' "Burning Up" concert will kick off July 4 in Toronto and will feature special guess Demi Lovato. The concert which is held to promote the band's third album "A Little Bit Longer" will wrap up on August 31 in Essex Junction, Vermont.

Concerning "Best of Both Worlds Concert Tour", the 3-D version of Cyrus' concert of the same name has reached #1 box office in its opening weekend which happened to be over the period of February 1-3 by pulling in $31 million. It further has made history by becoming the highest-grossing 3D movie as well as highest-grossing concert film. Screened in less than 1,000 theaters across the U.S., the movie went on collecting an impressive $65.3 million in North American markets only.
