A Columbia University student reportedly is demanding at least $10,000 from Lindsay Lohan for allegedly stealing her $11,000 fur coat during a January 26 bash.

AceShowbiz - A Columbia University student, identified as Masha Markova, reportedly wants a $10,000 payment from Lindsay Lohan for stealing her pricey fur coat for three weeks. According to a New York Post report, Masha is suggesting that she wore the coat, which her grandmother has given her, to Stavros Niarchos' private January 26 birthday party at 1Oak. There she got along with Lindsay and by the time she was about to go home she learned the coat was gone.

Thought her coat was gone for good after she couldn't find it at the end of the night, Masha was left in shock as she "flipped through" the February 11 edition of OK! magazine and spotted a shot of Lindsay wearing her coat. "I was actually talking on the phone to my grandmother about something else, and then I flipped through the magazine, saw the picture said, 'I need to call you back,'" Masha tells the Post. "It was my coat. It was no doubt!"

That being so, Masha then had her lawyer, Merrill Cohen, called Lindsay's attorney, Blair Berk, and threatened legal action. Hours later, 1Oak phoned her but "they were very discreet, never mentioned a name or even the word 'coat.' They just said, 'We're going to bring you something,'" Masha testified.

Two days later, Masha had her coat back. The Post reported it smelled of cigarettes and alcohol and had a tear in the lining but it was later dry-cleaned and repaired. Is pleased with the return of her fur coat, still Masha wants Lindsay to apologize and pay at least $10,000 in a "rental" fee for her $11,000 coat as she insisted "I don't see how it could have been an accident."

No words just yet from Lindsay and her people regarding that matter.
