For her upcoming tour the pop singer plans to bring back the image she once used a long time ago.

AceShowbiz - Kylie Minogue confirms her affection of Japanese culture by reminiscing a geisha look on her tour. The singer has decided that she will dress up as the traditional Japanese entertainer for her upcoming European tour that will start in Paris on May 6.

It won't be the first time that Kylie uses the geisha looks as she has already done it years ago. Meanwhile, in order to support her stage act the singer will also wear seven costumes originally designed by renown designer Jean Paul Gaultier.

Beside preparing the geisha image, on her tour Kylie will have a new band and adding for the first time a brass section on it. Aside from the band, to support her performance on stage she will also add 14 dancers and four acrobats.

The tour itself will feature some new countries that Kylie haven't been playing in, they are Greece, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Turkey, Luxembourg, Russia, Latvia and Spain. The last stop for her European tour will be staged in London on August 4.

In other news, just before kicking off her concert in France, the pop singer will receive the Knight in the Order of Arts and Letters award by the French government on May 5, which is one of the highest cultural awards in France.
