Snoop Dogg has added another project on his list by signing a deal with Extreme Music to become an executive producer.

AceShowbiz - Still having lots of projects to be finished doesn't stop Snoop Dogg from adding another one to his list. The controversial rapper has signed a deal with Extreme Music to become the executive producer for a multi-CD series of gangsta music titled the "G-Series".

The G-Series will feature Snoop's music that is set to be used in film, TV series and commercials ads connected with the company. Meanwhile, Extreme Music's CEO, Russell Emanuel, revealed the reason his company picked Snoop saying, "When we decided to produce an urban series, we wanted it to be not only major league but also 200% 'G,' with Snoop holding the reins." The rapper himself expressed his excitement to be working with the company as quoted saying, "I'm excited to get in the lab and cook up some heat."

Regarding the company, Extreme Music, it is a subsidiary of Sony/ATV music publishing which has been involved in the music for famous movies, such as "I Am Legend" and "American Gangster". Besides Snoop, Extreme Music also worked with other musicians, such as Quincy Jones and The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.

In other news, the rapper reportedly has had his U.K. ban lifted by an immigration judge George Warr on Wednesday, April 23. The judge overruled attempts by the U.K. border agency that banned Snoop to enter the country in 2006. Previously, in February another judge Nathan Bird has already lifted the rapper's ban, but the border agency challenged his decision back then.
