Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz has quashed media rumors that he has impregnated longtime girlfriend and fiancee Ashlee Simpson, branded the reports as "crazy".

AceShowbiz - While gossip publications are already afire with rumors that Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson are expecting their first child together, the Fall Out Boy bassist is quick to call foul that he has impregnated the singer, branded those rumors as "crazy". Put the brake on the false persistent pregnancy rumors, Wentz set the record straight in an email he sent to MTV News.
"There is a witch hunt for people to be pregnant whenever they get engaged in Hollywood," so he wrote on the email. "This is all news to me. I can't wait for the story about how I'm really in a gay relationship and this is all just a cover. ... I mean really, this is crazy. ... I mean we're engaged, that's true, and happy about it."
Speculation on Ashlee's pregnancy surfaced soon after she confirmed her engagement to Wentz on his official Website on Wednesday, April 9. On Monday, April 14, the Websites of OK! Magazine and US Weekly confirmed the pregnancy speculation, cited unnamed sources as saying that Ashlee, 23, is expecting her first child with fiance Pete Wentz, 28.
OK! which claimed the baby is due in October wrote on its site that Ashlee and Wentz are both "over the moon about the baby." The publication, moreover, also stated that Ashlee dealt with a "fierce bout of what appeared to be morning sickness" during a lunch at Malibu's Chart House restaurant.
Far more interesting than the pregnancy report, OK! also reported that Ashlee and Wentz are planning a wedding "on something in the Santa Barbara area probably by the end of May". OK! cited a friend of the couple as saying, "Ashlee would like to walk down the aisle before she's showing - although she's very cute the way she's always checking out her belly now and asking everyone, 'am I showing yet?'"
In addition to OK! and US Weekly, E! News was also being informed by a source close to Ashlee who claimed her pregnancy as still "very early" yet she and Wentz already informed their families of the impending stork delivery last week.
Despite all the reports, Wentz insisted Ashlee is not pregnant, saying "Yeah" when being asked if he was denying those reports.
