Just as he settled the lawsuit with his former label, a new lawsuit regarding copyright infringement is directed towards him.

AceShowbiz - One lawsuit is down, another erupts for Snoop Dogg aka Calvin Broadus in the eyes of law. The rapper who is rather familiar with the law in a non pleasant way, has been hit with a copyright infringement lawsuit in relatively the same time after he settled the one with his former label.
A little known musician named James D. Jenkins aka Millennium Child claimed that Snoop's new single "Sensual Seduction" was stolen from his demo tape that was given to actor slash rapper Ice Cube. In a handwritten lawsuit filed in Colorado District Court this week Jenkins said, "I had hand (sic) Ice Cube manager (sic)1 tape... From there I don't know how Calvin Broadus got a hold of it. The tape."
Jenkins however, is not seeking any damage, only demanding "documents related to the case", TMZ.com reported.
Earlier this week, attorneys said that Snoop had settled a lawsuit involving fees and advance payments in 1998 with his former label, Priority Records. "The litigation has been amicably resolved," said Snoop Dogg's attorney, Joseph Scleimer who is backed up with Priority lawyer David Steinberg who said, "I don't believe a settlement would have been reached unless both sides were happy."
On more enlightening news, Snoop was given a standing ovation when he performed for Idol Gives Back which will be broadcast by Fox tonight (April 10) at 7 P.M. ET. He was there performing "Can't Say Goodbye" with Charlie Wilson and Teddy Riley.
