David Beckham Named Britain's Best and Worst-Dressed Man by GQ Magazine

Soccer god David Beckham has been named Britain's Best Dressed and Worst-Dressed Man by GQ Magazine's U.K. edition.

AceShowbiz - While James Bond star Daniel Craig is invading the news media concerning his GQ's Best Dressed Man title, David Beckham steals the spot. Not without reason, but it is because the soccer god has been included in the lists of Britain's Best Dressed Men and Worst-Dressed Men, both are complied by GQ Magazine's U.K. edition.

David, who arguably is considered as a style icon, is ranked 6th in the list of 2008 Best-Dressed Men in Britain. He, interestingly, has also been named the 9th Worst-Dressed Men in Britain in 2008.

In the Best-Dressed list, David lost to Craig who is at the No. 1 spot for the second consecutive year. Joining them in the Top 10 list among others are Daniel Day-Lewis at No. 3, James McAvoy at No.4, and Jude Law at No. 7.

Far apart, on the Worst-Dressed list David is much better than Pete Doherty who's been named the 2nd Worst-Dressed Man in Britain, just one place behind Russell Brand who nabs the 1st spot. Unsurprisingly included in the category are James Blunt at 6th and bad boy rocker Johnny Borrell at 10th.

See the lists in full in the May issue of GQ, which hits the newsstands on Thursday, April 3. Below is recap of the Top 10 Britain's Best Dressed Men and Worst-Dressed Men.
