The father-and-son rap duo have been tapped to star in the upcoming horror film inspired by 'The Blair Witch Project' entitled 'The Pig People'.

AceShowbiz - The hip-hop artist Master P and his rapper son Lil' Romeo are going to team up once again. However, this time the father-and son duo won't be making music together, instead they were reported to be starring opposite each other in a forthcoming horror film "The Pig People".

According to SOHH.com, 38-year-old P whose real name is Percy Miller has been set to portray the film's villain, while Romeo will be playing TJ, one of the college kids who investigate the pig people myth. On playing for the horror film, the younger Miller commented, "I've never done a horror movie before. It's a different kind of acting and the challenge is really allowing me to take my game to the next level. We're gonna make the audience jump out of their seats with this."

This project would be P's first with his 18-year-old son although he has been appearing solo in various feature films that include "Gone in 60 Seconds" alongside Nicolas Cage and Angelina Jolie as well as "Hollywood Homicide" opposite Harrison Ford. Meanwhile, on Romeo's take, he also has appeared in several feature films, including in "Max Keeble's Big Move" and in "Honey".

Inspired by the 1999's horror film "The Blair Witch Project", "People" centers the story on five college students who venture off to a haunted forest in order to make a documentary about the 18th century Louisiana myth, the pig people, for a school project. Directed by David Gueringer, the Vault Load Films' pic is set to be released sometime in 2009.
