Boston have recruited two new members to join them in the U.S. tour, their first without late singer Brad Delp who committed suicide last year.

AceShowbiz - With the frontman slot being empty following the death of Brad Delp in March last year, the remaining members of rock band Boston were forced to recruit a new one. Not only did the rock act find a replacement in former Stryper vocalist Michael Sweet, they have also decided to enlarge the clan with the addition of their fan Tommy DeCarlo.

Together with Sweet and DeCarlo, the band that are now comprised of Tom Scholz, Gary Pihl, Kimberley Dahme, and Jeff Neal will embark on a U.S. tour starting on June 6 in Ontario. This would be the first outing for the band since Delp's death and dates are still being mapped out with the latest being August 15 in Atlantic City, N.J.

DeCarlo has wowed the band when he posted several covers of the band's songs on his MySpace. He will be assisting the band on vocal and guitar.

Boston will also release a re-mastered "Greatest Hits" CD to coincide with the tour. Singles from all five of their albums will be compiled with photos of them as well as liner notes written by the only original member, Scholz.

Delp ended his own life on March 9, 2007, shortly before the band were due to embark on a summer tour. His body was found by police in his bathroom and according to police reports, the cause of death was ruled as the result of carbon monoxide poisoning.
