Queen, assisted by Paul Rodgers will release their first original materials this September and tour for it.

AceShowbiz - Queen will reach another milestone when they release a new album containing original materials for the first time without late vocalist Freddie Mercury this September. The surviving members of the legendary rock band, Brian May and Roger Taylor, will release "The Cosmos Rocks" which will be the first album without Mercury contributing since the 1995 "Made in Heaven".
Former member John Deacon won't be featured in this project, instead Paul Rodgers is brought in. Rodgers has been serving vocalist duties since 1995 after Mercury's death and singing for the band under the moniker Queen + Paul Rodgers. A spokesperson of the band said that all three of them have begun recording the album in the studio.
The September 1 album will include "Say It's Not True", the song that was released last year to raise money for World AIDS day. It will also include for the first time in the band's history, a cover of an unnamed song.
They will then embark on a Fall tour beginning this September, visiting 28 dates in European stadiums including those in Glasgow, Liverpool, and Birmingham. The tour that will conclude within seven weeks will sell its tickets on Saturday, April 5 at 9 A.M..
