Madonna and Guy Ritchie are not heading for splitsville, a representative for the singer has confirmed.

AceShowbiz - Going against media claim that Madonna's marriage to hubby Guy Ritchie is on the rocks, a representative for the singer has confirmed that the couple are not heading for splitsville. Madonna's publicist, Liz Rosenberg, issued a statement Monday, March 17, quashed suggestions that the couple's marriage may be ending.

"I am delighted to confirm that Mr. and Mrs. Guy Ritchie remain happily married," Rosenberg said in a statement. "Though they were in different countries recently-Madonna in the U.S. doing promotion for her upcoming album, Hard Candy, and Guy finishing up post-production on his new film, RocknRolla, as well as completing a Nike commercial and working on several scripts in England-the family are joyfully back together at home in London. All is well and wonderful in the Ritchie household."

The news media and Internet reports have been speculating on the couple's status following Ritchie's absence from Madonna's induction into the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame on March 10. Talk of a rift between the singing sensation and her film director husband arose Monday, March 17 with some media claimed their marriage was on the rocks.

Worse, it's been reported that Madonna has told her staff to start packing, planning to relocate to New York with her three children, Lourdes, Rocco, and David Banda without Ritchie in tow. She however would wait until 18 months to announce their split. The reason for that was because she needed her peeps to start working on how the press will handle their split.

Madonna and Ritchie have been married since December 22, 2000. Son Rocco John Richie is their biological child together.
