The Rushes Prepare Debut Releases With Video and Tour

Rock act The Rushes from South London are set to launch their music career worldwide by releasing a video and a tour this March.

AceShowbiz - Island Records artist The Rushes have premiered the music video of their debut single "Corners" that will appear on their upcoming EP of the same name. The melodic rock band will also release a debut album in Summer and jump on a tour starting this March.

"Corners (EP)" will be dropped on March 31, including the songs "To the Surface", "What You Waiting For", and "Get the Feeling". Beside completing this EP, the band that were formed in 2006 have also finished the full-length album with producer Victor Van Vugt (Athlete, Nick Cave, PJ Harvey).

Their tour in U.K. has begun since March 1 at Plymouth University, SU but will stretch through March 13 at University of Central Lancashire.

The band from South London are comprised of vocalist/guitarist Gerard O'Connell, keyboardist Dan Armstrong, bassist, James O'Connell and drummer Joe Allen. They have been musically compared to Muse and The Police. They released a 7" vinyl single "What Are You Waiting For" in November 2006 on their own label Frickin' Records.
