Owen Wilson Going Back to 'Night at the Museum'

The actor who attempted to kill himself back in August 2007 is reported to be signed again to star alongside Ben Stiller in 'Night at the Museum 2: Escape from the Smithsonian'.

AceShowbiz - The "Wedding Crashers" star Owen Wilson is going to star in the "Night at the Museum" sequel. According to MTV Movies Blog, the 39-year-old actor has been signed to appear in "Night at the Museum 2: Escape from the Smithsonian" alongside Ben Stiller.

In an interview with the newcomer to the comedy fantasy film Hank Azaria, it was revealed that many of the original film cast will be back for the sequel. Azaria stated, "Owen [Wilson] is coming back and so is Steve Coogan and Ricky Gervais. And there's other fun folks too who haven't officially signed on yet playing historical figures."

Aside from revealing the casting, Azaria also spoke about his character which he said to be the villain. "I am playing a fictional Egyptian pharaoh that comes to life," he said. "I'm the villain in the movie and have all sorts of nasty plans for modern society and poor Ben Stiller gets caught in the middle of it."
