AceShowbiz - Liking her duet with rock band Klaxons at recent BRIT Awards performance, Rihanna has uttered her willingness to release the version as a single. The unlikely duet resulted in a mix of Rihanna's "Umbrella" which new arrangement was done by the band.

"It's a different tempo and everything," Rihanna told 6music, "But I actually want to release a version like that. Maybe the same version. I really, really liked it." Interestingly, few days before the performance, Klaxons' frontman James Righton revealed that Rihanna's people kept sending the versions that they offered back because they were not suitable.

On other news, Klaxons will release their second set the end of this year. The band that won 2007 Mercury Prize said that they have laid down some tracks and are ready to hit the studio to record them. "We've put some rough demos down and had some ideas," XFM quoted the band. "We're off to Milan in May to start work with James Ford again on the next record and hope to release it late this year or next."

Further collaboration with Rihanna is also on the line. "Since we've been doing this Rihanna thing we've been chatting and she wants to do something with us so we might sort something out for the next record. You know, she's gorgeous but she's not a diva, she's been easy to work with. It's just worked and had chemistry."
