Reportedly back on the pre-production as the film has been scheduled for 2010 release, reports claimed that 'Justice League of America' won't have either Batman or Superman in the project.

AceShowbiz - Said to be back on track, the action hero flick "Justice League of America" brings in another blow for fans as it was reported that the film version won't feature Batman as well as Superman. According to Blockbuster.com, the synopsis of the film revealed that the two favorite superheroes are not going to appear in the George Miller-directed film.
On its reports, the movie site claimed that a casting agent has sent the film's synopsis which contains spoiler. From the alleged synopsis, it can be seen that the heroes were eliminated because Batman left and Superman was dead. It read, "The film is about Green Lantern, Green Arrow and others of the Justice League of America, an organization made up of the world's greatest superheroes. They must deal with the expulsion of Batman and the death of Superman at the hands of the monstrous Doomsday."
In mid January, it was reported that the Warner Bros. Pictures' project had been put on hold for an indefinite time due to the writers' strike. However, in early February, reports about the joining of rapper Common to the film as Green Lantern has been surfacing. Further, along with the reports about the leaked synopsis, it was said that the movie is now slated for 2010 release.
