Not nabbing the Album of the Year title at 50th Grammys, Kanye West earned a spotlight at the after party when he premiered the music video for his new single "Flashing Lights".

AceShowbiz - During the 50th Grammys after party that was hosted by Entertainment Weekly, Kanye West premiered his music video for "Flashing Lights" that has been much-awaited. The video was played on a large wall via projector in front of a crowd that include fellow celebrities such as Kelis, Nas, Nelly, Rihanna, Chris Brown, Ashanti and many more.
Just before playing the video West said as quoted by MTV.com, "I feel like a brand-new artist that just signed yesterday. Every piece of the video is me, what I represent now." He co-directed the video with renown director Spike Jonze and has reportedly been in German to shoot the video.
MTV described the video's concept as "a hodgepodge of sex appeal, brashness, grace and humorous storytelling. Basically, the short revolves around a lady taking out her frustrations on a bound-and-gagged West in the harshest way."
After watching the video fellow rapper Nas commented, "The video is f***ing incredible! Nobody wants to be different. Everybody wants to be the same, and Kanye always comes with some other sh**. He's not afraid to be different."
West had previously released two frames from the video one showing a woman in the run and the other a car on the go. On his blog, West said that he promised BET for its premiere which date is still unknown.
"Flashing Lights" is the fourth single from "Graduation" that won Best Rap Album at the Grammy Awards ceremony held on Sunday, February 10.
