Heath Ledger's family reportedly are planning to hold a wake Saturday at a Colonial-style waterfront restaurant at Cottesloe Beach, a resort village south of Perth that was a favorite spot of Heath.

AceShowbiz - In the wake of the release of the official results of the toxicology test of Heath Ledger, there comes a new report that suggests the late actor's family are planning to hold a final farewell to Heath at a spot he cherished.

The West Australian newspaper reported Thursday, February 7 that Heath's family were hoping to hold a wake Saturday at a Colonial-style waterfront restaurant at Cottesloe Beach, a resort village south of Heath's hometown of Perth that was a favorite spot of the actor.

And soon following the service, Heath is expected to be buried in a family plot next to two of his grandparents at Perth's Karrakatta Cemetery.

Heath's former fiancee Michelle Williams and their daughter Matilda Rose Ledger who have arrived in Perth by Wednesday, February 6 are among those who are expected to attend the funeral in addition to Heath's "Brokeback Mountain" co-star Jake Gyllenhaal and rumored love interest Gemma Ward.

In the meantime, West Australian Premier Alan Carpenter urged the media to respect the family's privacy. "The family have been thrust into the spotlight, obviously in the worst of all circumstances," Carpenter said in a statement Thursday, February 7. "I think the Ledger family should [have] the right to some privacy."
