Ben Affleck's Younger Brother to Star in 'The Kind One'?

Casey Affleck who was nominated for Oscar and Golden Globe for his role in 'Jesse James' has been reported to be attached in the Tom Epperson-adapted project.

AceShowbiz - Tom Epperson-written drama "The Kind One" may have found its leading man on Casey Affleck. Variety reported that the acclaimed 32-year-old actor has been attached to star in the period nior drama project.

Based on Epperson's novel published on January 22, 2008, "One" sees the story of an amnesiac who finds out that he is working for a mobster and falling in love to the girlfriend of the gangster. The film is said to be set in Los Angeles in 1930. According to Variety, the script will be penned by Epperson himself when the writers' strike is over.

If Affleck indeed joins the project, he will once again work with producer Sean Bailey. Previously, he has teamed up with the producer in his brother, Ben Affleck, directed-crime drama "Gone Baby Gone". The youngest of the Affleck brothers has nailed various awards nods, including Academy Award and Golden Globe, for his performance as Robert Ford in "The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford".
