Joining a list of celebrated celebrities, the star of 'The Princess Diaries' will be honored at the 2008 ShoWest annual convention held on March 10-13 in Las Vegas.

AceShowbiz - Anne Hathaway is joining the list of celebrities to be honored at the 2008 ShoWest annual convention held on March 10-13 in Las Vegas. According to Variety, the star of "The Princess Diaries" will be honored with the title of ShoWest's Female Star of the Year.
The 25-year-old actress is to be honored at the same day with actors Robert Downey Jr. and Brendan Fraser who will be awarded the Male Star of the Year prize and the Distinguished Decade of Achievement in Film kudo respectively. Aside from the two actors, she will also be joined by 11-year-old Abigail Breslin who was tapped earlier as Female Star of Tomorrow.
Known as the clumsy princess in Disney's family comedy "Diaries", the New York native broke her "G-rated" image by appearing in "Havoc" with Bijou Phillips and in "Brokeback Mountain" alongside Heath Ledger and Jake Gyllenhaal. Last seen in Julian Jarrold's "Becoming Jane", she next set to appear in comedy "Get Smart" opposite Steve Carell.
