The results of a second toxicology test to find out the cause of Heath Ledger's death which are about to be released Tuesday, February 5 have been delayed to Wednesday morning, Feb 6.

AceShowbiz - Heath Ledger's toxicology test results are delayed, it has been reported.

Results of the test, which is meant to find out the cause(s) of the actor's sudden death, were initially planned to be released Tuesday, February 5. In fact, new report surfaces by the hour that the New York Chief Medical Examiner's Office will not make public the details until Wednesday morning, February 6.

A source in the New York City Medical Examiner's office confirmed that matter to People, saying "They definitely will not be released. They were supposed to be released [Tuesday] but they will instead be released Wednesday morning."

No reason was given for the delay though.

Heath was found dead, naked in bed, surrounded by prescription sleeping pills in the bedroom of his Soho apartment around 3:30 P.M. back on January 22 by his housekeeper and a masseuse who had arrived for an appointment with the actor. Initial autopsy has been held but proved inconclusive.

While there has yet any official statement from Heath's camp concerning his burial, it is widely believed that he will be buried in a family plot next to two of his grandparents at Perth's Karrakatta Cemetery.
