P.O.D.'s new album, "When Angels & Serpent Dance", is shaping up with the return of Marcos Curiel who left the lots in 2003.

AceShowbiz - While many band members decide to make an exit, Marcos Curiel is doing it the other way. The former guitarist of P.O.D. who quit from the metal band 4 years ago, is re-joining his bandmates to work on an album called "When Angels & Serpent Dance", due April 8.
Curiel admitted that his return to the band has been pretty smooth that it was as if he "hadn't even left." He officially departed from the band in February 2003 due to his side project and "spiritual differences" although rumors were circulating that he was actually kicked out of the band. Jason Truby came as a replacement but announced his departure in late 2006, just in time Curiel wanted to re-join.
Drummer Wuv Bernardo decided to call Curiel telling about Truby's exit. "Next thing I know, (Wuv) tells me the guitar player who replaced me was bowing out and maybe we should start jamming," Curiel revealed. Explaining why he at the first place left the band Curiel said, "We were at the height of our career and all of a sudden this big mess happened. It was just business." The guitarist also emphasized that he "is excited to be back" in the band and vice versa.
"When Angels & Serpent Dance" will feature guest appearances from Marley Sisters, Mike Muir and Paige Hamilton. Its first single is called "Addicted" which Curiel described as "has a heavy groove. Big rock is kind of missing today - everything is so garage."
After the album's release, the band are expected to tour as a four-piece in May, visiting several U.S. clubs and overseas. "We're going to do the whole world a few times over," Curiel said.
