AceShowbiz - Apart from working on a new album with his band Queen + Paul Rodgers, Queen's guitarist Brian May is spending more time with Ben Elton to write the follow up to their already-running musical production, 'We Will Rock You'.

Elton who penned the original screenplay, will be back as the scriptwriter to the sequel of West End musical while May is supplying the musical scores. On his official website May wrote, "We have been talking about it for a long time, now Ben has supplied us with a fabulous script the train is rolling! Watch out!" No schedule yet on when the play will open.

'We Will Rock You', which is based on Queen's songs, first hit Dominion Theater in London in May 2002 and has been running for almost six years now with various spin-offs. It was originally set to close in October 2006 but has been extended further due to high demand.

The surviving members of Queen - May and Roger Taylor - have formed a new band which is fronted by ex-Bad Company vocalist Paul Rodgers to record an album which will be released later this year. In November 2007, they had released a charity song called 'Say It's Not True' for Nelson Mandela's 46664 campaign.
