John Legend has signed on to serve as celebrity endorser for liquor Baileys Irish Cream.

AceShowbiz - Is best known as an R&B singer, songwriter, and pianist, John Legend is venturing into liquor business. The musician, who rose to fame with his 2004 album "Get Lifted", has signed on as the new face of Baileys Irish Cream.
Baileys Irish Cream is an Irish whiskey and cream based liqueur, made by R. A. Bailey & Co. of Dublin, Ireland. The trademark is currently owned by Diageo which is the largest multinational beer, wine and spirits company in the world. It has a declared alcohol content of 17% alcohol by volume.
Being tapped as the brand's celebrity endorser, Legend will lend both his face and voice to promote the products because "he loved the idea of fans enjoying a glass while listening to his music", various news media wrote.
"They (Baileys) really like who I am as an artist and what I represent. They want my fans to be Baileys customers and I feel like they treat my fans in a mature, respectful way," so Legend said about his new venture.
Concerning the deal, Baileys Irish Cream is currently sponsoring Legend's "Homeschool" tour.
