AceShowbiz - On Friday, January 25, while the sci-fi film's team, including the cast and crew sat down with TrekMovie.com to have a chat with the fans, it was revealed that the first movie trailer of "Star Trek" is reportedly going to be outed in theaters in summer. The news was let out by Bryan Burk, the movie executive producer, when answering a fan question.

On the special occasion, Burk revealed the good news saying, "Barring any thievery from our production office, we're working on our first trailer right now, which will hopefully be in theaters early to mid summer." Meanwhile, on the film's wrap date, J.J. Abrams exposed that the film is scheduled to take the principal photography until early April.

In the chat, it was revealed that there will be about 1000 visual effects shots. On the visual effects counts, Abrams added that he wants to make the film to be as real as it can be stating, "My goal is to make Trek REAL - that is to say, not have it be camp - not have it be phony - not have it look like a scrap of green screen was used anywhere."

He further explained, "Of course, this is Star Trek. We're using every trick in the book. But WHEREVER WE CAN, we are shooting on sets - either built on sound stages or expanding upon found locations. This is important. What this means is that the movie won't have that 'actors performing in a blue or green void then placed in front of a spaceship set' feeling that makes me insane." At the end of his comment, the producer of successful monster film "Cloverfield" promised that a photo in accordance to the film is "forthcoming". The transcript of the "Star Trek" chat can be read at trekmovie.com.
