'Hellraiser' Waits 'Till 2009 for Release

According to Bloody-disgusting.com, Dimension Films have announced on Thursday, January 24, that the release date of the horror film produced by Clive Barker has been moved to an undetermined 2009 date.

The film directed by Alexandre Bustillo and Julien Maury supposedly becomes the remake of Barker's 1987 directorial debut. The original "Hellraiser" tells the story of an unfaithful wife who helps her dead former lover to bring him back to life.

On the related news, MGM's new comedy project "Trailer Trash" which is directed and written by Eli Roth has also been pushed back to a tentative 2009 release. Originally, the film made from a series of blooper trailers was planned to hit theaters on August 22.
