The band's drummer predicted that they will come out with new stuff in Summer, in time of their headlining job at 2008 Isle of Wight.

AceShowbiz - Being confirmed as the headlining act of 2008 Isle of Wight, Sex Pistols may preview their new songs at the big music event. The reunited band reportedly are recording new materials, their first in thirty years.

Drummer Paul Cook hinted that "new stuff'" may be ready in Summer. He said, "There's talk of new material. The only problem is that it's a bit hard to work on anything as John (Lydon) and Steve (Jones) are in America and Glen (Matlock) and I are in the U.K.. so it's a case of finding the time to get together. We might not pull together an album but hopefully there will be some new stuff in time for the summer."

Isle of Wight is scheduled to take place in June and Sex Pistols will headline the second night of the festival, dated June 14. Kaiser Chiefs, The Police, The Kooks, Ian Brown and NERD have been announced as other headliners at the festival that takes place at Seaclose Park, Newport.
