Cassie Puts Sophomore Album on Schedule

Cassie finally finds a date to release her highly-awaited album which still has no title.

AceShowbiz - Previously assumed got stuck in her sophomore effort, model turns singer Cassie finally drops the news on the album which is not yet titled. Billboard.com reported that the album will arrive May 20 via P. Diddy's Bad Boy Records.

On the difference to her debut set, Cassie said of the new album, "I guess I grew up a lot but I'm still in essence the same person. Lots has changed in my life, stuff that has made me think about things differently. I'm more vulnerable and you can hear my vocals better this time around. There's real emotion and a much realer connection with my fans."

Summarizing the album in two words, the R'n'B singer said that it would be both "fun" and "danceable". Productions come from, among others, Bryan Michael Cox, Mario Winans, Seven, and Eric Hudson. However, no featured guest has been mentioned or recorded yet. Some known tracks which tentatively go to the albums are 'My House', 'Thirsty' and 'Push It'.

Since releasing her self-titled debut album in August 2006, her second set has been highly-awaited despite the rumor that she was dropped from Bad Boy Records. Her latest materialized work in music would be a background vocal contribution on Jay-Z's single 'Roc Boys (And the Winner Is...)'.
