Eddie Murphy married his film producer fiancee Tracey Edmonds on a private island in French Polynesia on Tuesday, January 1.

AceShowbiz - The wedding has been held. Following rumor after rumor, Eddie Murphy and fiancee Tracey Edmonds finally tied the knot on a private island in French Polynesia on Tuesday, January 1.

The pair exchanged vows in a sunset ceremony took place off Bora Bora, a Pacific island about 140 miles (230 km) northwest of Tahiti in front of just 25 friends and family members.

Wore a custom-designed form-fitting dress by stylist and designer Sugia Nazel and Jill Baracci, designer and owner of Baracci boutique, Tracey walked down the aisle barefoot to Gladys Knight's "Makings of You." Murphy, meanwhile, wore a cream suit and vest with an off-white handkerchief.

Among the guests attended the wedding were best man Johnny Gill, maid of honor Nicole Avant, matron of honor Julie Lev, as well as Tracey's parents Jacqueline and George McQuarn, her brother Michael, Murphy's mother Lillian Lynch and his brother Vernon.

The marriage is the second for both Murphy and Tracey. The actor-comedian previously married to model Nicole Mitchell from 1993 to 2006. They had five children together. Last year, he fathered a daughter with Melanie Brown of the Spice Girls.

As of Tracey, the film producer split from her singer husband Babyface last year. They had two sons together.
