Feeling that they didn't channel their attention to States tours, Foo Fighters will compensate with huge production for the upcoming one.

AceShowbiz - Foo Fighters felt the need of touring "more intensely" in the States after spending too much time concentrating on overseas gigs. The rock band will jump on a North American tour on January 16 in Sunrise, Fla. that will promote their latest Grammy-nominated album, 'Echoes, Silence, Patience and Grace'.
"We've been concentrating on overseas for the last couple of records, and in a lot of people's mind's have kind of neglected the U.S., especially some of the smaller cities," said bassist Nate Mendel. "So this time we're going to be touring a lot more intensely in the U.S."
The tour will wind down March 30 in Vancouver, B.C. with stops at Pensacola, Fla. (January 20), Fayetteville, Ark. (January 28), Reno, Nev. (February 1), and Binghamton, N.Y. (February 22). Coming up with a new concept, Mendel said that there will be a secondary stage, mechanical gags, an 8 piece backing band and huge production, but no more pyrotechnics.
In related news, frontman Dave Grohl revealed that they have an unusual pre-gig ritual. "Some bands pray to God they'll have the best show of their lives. Some bands huddle in a rugby scrum and yell, 'Go team!' We listen to Michael Jackson's Off The Wall and do Jager bombs, which are Dave Lee Roth juice. If you want to be Dave Lee Roth onstage, you need at least four Jager bombs to get you there," Grohl said.
