British pop star Lily Allen and her boyfriend Ed Simons are expecting their first child together, it has been reported.

It appears that everyone in the industry is competing to get into the pregnancy phase. Hot on the heels of Jessica Alba and Jamie Lynn Spears' shocking revelations on their impending motherhood, there comes a new claim that Allen is expecting her first child.
Allen, famous for her hit single "Smile," and her boyfriend Ed Simons of the music group The Chemical Brothers, are expecting their first child together.
The Sun, who's the first to bring the news to the surface, reported that Allen learned she was pregnant last month, but has only revealed the good news to close family. She and Ed are said to be delighted.
A source close to the British pop star was quoted as saying, "Lily is thrilled to be pregnant and can't wait to become a mum. She's a real family person. Ed's very happy. He is really looking after her."
Allen has been dating Ed, who is 15-years her senior, since September. The pair are now reportedly planning to set up home together.
"Could not be happier" about her pregnancy, Allen is "looking forward to finishing her new album early next year and releasing it before the birth of her first child," another source has revealed.
