Stars Being Signed for New Thriller Boy in the Box

Rhona Mitra, Josh Lucas, James Van Der Beek, and four other names are all set to star in the project for A2 Entertainment Group and Code Entertainment.

AceShowbiz - Rounding out acting talents to fill in the cast of their new thriller "The Boy in the Box", A2 Entertainment Group and Code Entertainment have picked up Hollywood names like Rhona Mitra, Josh Lucas, and James Van Der Beek to lead the lineup, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.

Joined the threesome are Jon Hamm, Jimmy Bennett, Jessica Chastain, and Marcus Thomas, the latest most recently appeared in John Dahl's comedy "You Kill Me." All have been confirmed to come under the direction of first-time helmer Anders Anderson.

Meanwhile, story centers on a small-town police chief, played by Hamm, who determines to find out the truth behind the mummified remains of a boy murdered a half-century earlier. Mitra will play his wife, who is trying to move on after the disappearance of their own son eight years earlier, while Lucas is billed as the murdered boy's father.

Project will be developed from a script penned by actor Glenn Taranto, who is making his feature writing debut here. Apart from taking directing duties, Anderson is producing alongside Al Corley, Bart Rosenblatt, Eugene Musso, and Andy Steinman as well, the latest also handling the movie's cinematography.
