Alanis Morissette will receive a lifetime achievement award in a music celebration week in her home country of Canada.

AceShowbiz - Alanis Morissette is the latest Canadian to be inducted to the country's Music Hall of Fame board. The singer will receive a lifetime achievement award at Canadian Radio Music Awards.
The induction ceremony which will be held on March 7, is in line with Canadian Music Week. Toronto will host the show this year, naming the venue at the Royal York Hotel.
With the induction, Morissette will join previous legends such as Neil Young, Anne Murray and Daniel Lanois.
Morissette is working on a new album titled 'Flavors of Entanglement' which is planned for a February 2008 release. She will support Matchbox 20 in a 33-date tour that starts January 25 in Hollywood, Fla.
