Entertainment Weekly's Picks for Entertainers of the Year Revealed

Entertainment Weekly has selected their Entertainers of the Year for 2007, and among them make the list are Angelina Jolie and George Clooney.

AceShowbiz - Entertainment Weekly has revealed the picks for their Top 25 Entertainers of 2007, which is broken into such categories, as Most Popular, Valedictorians, Prodigies, and Class Clowns. Among them make the list are Angelina Jolie and actor George Clooney, who both counted among the Valedictorians.

Jolie, who aside from becoming the mother of four children, is a famous Hollywood movie star has been included in the picks because, as claimed by Entertainment Weekly, her acting performances in 2007 were far more interesting than her private life, taking into account her movie credits during the year which among others include "Beowulf" and "A Mighty Heart."

Valedictorian Clooney, elsewhere, is counted for his well-received blockbuster "Ocean's Thirteen" and the legal drama "Michael Clayton" which he also exec-produced. Also being labeled as Valedictorians on the list are The Sopranos, Will Smith, and Tommy Lee Jones.

As of the Cable Queens category, the list names the likes of Mary-Louise Parker (Weeds), Kyra Sedgwick (The Closer), Glenn Close (Damages) and Holly Hunter (Saving Grace).

Matt Damon, who has just nabbed People magazine's Sexiest Man Alive title, is among the Most Popular alongside fellow actor Johnny Depp, Katherine Heigl, Carrie Underwood, and Kanye West.

The Four Prodigies according to Entertainment Weekly are "High School Musical" star Zac Efron, "Umbrella" singer Rihanna, "Hannah Montana" star Miley Cyrus, and actor Shia LaBeouf, who was arrested early this month for allegedly trespassing in a Chicago Walgreens.
