Spice Girls have made its clear that the cancellation e-mail was fake and they will continue with the Buenos Aires gig.

AceShowbiz - Spice Girls have tackled the rumor on them cancelling a concert in Buenos Aires, Argentina. It turned out that the e-mail sent to fans saying that the tour was not going to happen, was fake.

A spokesperson of the reunited group released a statement to BBC, "The Spice Girls would like to make it clear that they have not cancelled their Buenos Aires show. A story has appeared on several websites that includes a fake e-mail and competition from the girls."

The fake e-mail was distributed last week claiming that the girls have to put the U.K. and U.S. dates in priority and therefore, would not have time for the South American country. 'They' then offered a competition to fly lucky winners to one of their London dates.

"This is not the case and this email is 100% unofficial and has nothing to do with the Spice Girls," the statement added.

The Spice Girls have mapped out 40 dates so far but have not finalized the complete schedule yet. The tour will kick off December 2 in Vancouver, Canada.
