Reports said that a Danish group named Alphabeat snubbed the chance to be Spice Girls' opening act.

AceShowbiz - The supporting act slot for Spice Girls' U.K. tour is empty after the scheduled Danish pop group Alphabeat turned their back on the girls.
The group who is hugely popular in their country reportedly refused to back up the reunited band for they are not a fan of Spice Girls' music. A source told The Sun, "They're (Alphabeat) not the biggest fans of the girls. It's not really how they want to launch in the U.K."
As a result, the girls have decided not to have a supporting act when they play London's O2 in January next year.
Meanwhile, it was reported that tickets to some of the reunion shows have flunked in price as they are being auctioned off for as little as 25 pounds.
Although tickets for the first few London dates were snapped within seconds, Internet touts have falsely predicted the demand of the concerts, especially after the girls' comeback single 'Headlines' was deemed a chart failure.
