Kanye West's mother, Dr. Donda West, was laid to rest Tuesday morning Nov 20th at the True Vine Ministry church in her native Oklahoma City.

AceShowbiz - She's passed away and been remembered by friends, family, and colleague. And on Tuesday morning November 20th the funeral was held. Kanye West, surrounded by family and friends, attended his mother Donda West's funeral held at the True Vine Ministry church in her native Oklahoma City.
Accompanied by his model fiancee Alexis Phifer, Kanye was seen greeting some people attending the funeral. Glad to see a smile on his face following the tragic and shocking death of his mom. Fellow singers Beyonce Knowles and fiance Jay-Z were seen attending the private service to lend support to him, with John Legend and Anita Baker reportedly performed .
Flowers poured inside the church, which can hold up to 2,500 people. Kanye is said to broke down during the private service and was quoted as talking about his mother that he wanted her to not "rest in peace, but rest in paradise."
Soon following the service, two horse drawn carriages transported Donda's body to the cemetery.
Dr. Donda West passed away in Los Angeles on Saturday night November 10th. She was 58. Preliminary indication suggested that she died of cosmetic surgical complications. Investigation is still ongoing with Jan Adams, the doctor who performed surgery on Donda, as the only target so far. The doctor reportedly is scheduled to appear on "Larry King" on Tuesday night.
