Also confirmed is the existence of smaller monsters and the fact that the flick is a completely hand-held camera movie.

AceShowbiz - One of the great mysteries surrounding the secretive monster flick that J.J. Abrams produced now is ultimately unveiled. A new trailer for the movie has made appearance in front of "Beowulf" screening debut yesterday, November 15, 2007 revealing the title to be "Cloverfield", the initial name for the project given at the beginning of its publication

The new piece turns out to pick up right where the first teaser trailer left off while elaborating a bit more on the story and the monsters. Footage shown are from the hand-held camera that lead character Rob, whose full name mentioned to be Robert Hawkins, carries as he go around Manhattan with a small group of friends.

For those who are curious to see clearly how the giant monster looks like, however, prepare to face disappointment as the new trailer only presents the creature in a quick flash. Though so, it does confirm that there are smaller monsters featured in the picture as speculated.

Words have it that the very same trailer will go online officially next Monday, November 19, 2007, but if you desperately want to catch it as quickly as possible, you can head to theaters nearby showing "Beowulf" to grab it for sure. As for now, try to get satisfied with the bootleg version of the trailer below:

Further to say, three new production stills from the flick have also made their way to pop up on the net, all featuring female cast member Lizzy Caplan as you can see below:
