Staring from January next year, Matchbox 20 will headline a 33-date tour which is opened by Alanis Morissette and Mute Math.

AceShowbiz - After four years of absence from touring, Matchbox 20 are back down the road with not only one but two great acts to accompany them. Alanis Morissette and rock band Mute Math will tag along the 33-date trek as the Rob Thomas-fronted band's opening acts.
The jaunt will begin January 25 at Hollywood's Hard Rock Live and wind down March 18 at Las Vegas' Pearl Theater. One highlighted event is the Valentine's Day that happen to stop at New York's Madison Square Garden on February 14.
The now quartet Matchbox 20 will support their latest release 'Exile on Mainstream' that peaked at #3 on Billboard Hot 200 last month. Meanwhile, Alanis is looking forward to release a dance album titled 'Flavors of Entanglement' in February 2008. On the other hand, MuteMath will not release their new album until late next year. In 2006, they independently released a self-titled album that features charting single 'Typical'.
